Position Summary: Assists Banquet Manager/Supervisor with directing staff assigned to the Banquet Department. Assist and coordinate the food and beverage service of banquet functions.
-Performs planning and organization functions for the banquet department, including maintaining the banquet logbook and maintaining and updating function sheets.
-Circulates through each Banquet function to ensure guest satisfaction. Sincerely seeks guest comments and quickly and willingly handles any complaints.
-Supervises the food and beverage services of banquet functions, including set-up, service, and breakdown.
-Coordinates function details with banquet, conference planning, and kitchen staff.
Position Requirements:
-This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma and a minimum of one year job-related experience in high end banquets and catering functions.
-Serv-Safe certified preferred.
-TIPS certified.
